visitsylhet is an independent travel guide to the Sylhet division of Bangladesh: Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj and Habiganj. We publish seasonal guides to every major place, list verified stays and local operators, and help travellers plan trips that follow the roads and the rivers.
What we do
- Write practical, seasonal guides for each destination, in English and Bangla.
- Visit hotels, resorts, boats and guides before they get a verified badge.
- Send enquiries straight to partners, with no booking fees for guests.
- Take a small online deposit for partners who accept booking requests, through SSLCommerz.
How we make money
Partners pay a yearly fee for Featured or Premium listings, and we keep the online deposit on booking requests as our commission. Paid placement changes where a listing appears in search, never what we write about a place.
