Hakaluki Haor
The largest haor in Bangladesh by Banglapedia’s account, an inland sea in the rains and a bird refuge in winter.
Hakaluki spreads across Moulvibazar and Sylhet districts with more than 238 beels. It was declared an ecologically critical area in 1999 and draws large flocks of migratory birds.
